Brandon Jacobs, MA
Educational and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Consultant
Brandon serves an education and search consultant for the largest independent school executive search and firm, Carney, Sandoe and Associates (CSA). He works with hundreds of schools and educators across the country and the world regarding the important of equitable experiences and creating communities of authentic belonging. Prior to joining CSA, Brandon worked in various roles in many schools in the Philadelphia area including Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Civics Instructor at The Shipley School, Director of Diversity and Inclusion and Director of Student Activities, Class Dean, and Assistant Director of College Advising at The Hill School, and as Admissions Counselor and Multicultural Recruiter for Rider University.
Brandon has presented at the NAIS People of Color Conference, as well as the Hawaii Association of Independent Schools, Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools, Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools, and Southern Association of Independent Schools conferences. He is a well-known thought leader and is consistently invited to serve on panels, lead workshops, and speak on topics of equitable hiring and retention, diversity and equity strategic planning, curriculum design, climate assessments, and board governance.
Brandon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Communication Studies from the College of Wooster (OH), a Masters of Educational Leadership and Administration from Saint Joseph’s University (PA), and is enrolled in an Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Practice and Innovation with a concentration in Curriculum from the University of South Carolina (SC).
