[JAP1]Update if inaccurate.
[JAP2]EU law (the GDPR) and California law require users' consent to collect data through cookies and tags, and although those laws arguably do not apply to your site at this time, the conservative approach is to collect consents through a pop up or other method upon user's first engagement with the site. Most platforms have cookie consent tools that you can use to collect these consents.
Such a consent could read:
This website use "cookies" to enhance user experience and to analyze performance and traffic on our website, and to improve our marketing operations. We share information about your use of our site with our social media, advertising, and analytics partners. You can read more information on these trackers in our Privacy Policy [link].
[Include a button to "Accept all cookies" and a button or link to modify cookie settings.]
[JAP3]If collected information is used for ANY other purpose not listed here, this should be updated accordingly.
[JAP4]Include if accurate.
[JAP5]If Sensitive Data is shared with anyone else (schools, employers, etc.), this will need to be updated.
[JAP6]Per https://accessibe.com/accesswidget/security#:~:text=accessiBe%20is%20GDPR%20%26%20CCPA%20compliant%20and%20doesn't%20collect%20personal%20data&text=You%20need%20to%20ensure%20that,privacy%20compliance%20is%20not%20affected.
[JAP7]Recommend including an email to a monitored inbox. Street address/phone number would be OK to include too. Toll-free phone number in addition to email is best, though email will be sufficient if your interactions with these users will solely be electronic and via the website.
